Birth Announcement Photo session

I have been meaning to post the photos from when I photographed him at 6 weeks for his Birth Announcement card. I put a blanket down on the bed, I used the blanket my Aunt Monica made for Jack. I was hoping for some smiles, thankfully he was a happy man that day! Lauren my good friend a very talented designer made the cards for us. She also did our wedding stationary. Check out her work  -   http://www.inknanchor.com/
Here are the photos and the final announcement.

Jack-O-Lantern

Last week on a warm fall day Baby Jack became Jack-O-Lantern. Pete carved out a great big pumpkin the night before. The next morning we took a few test shots on my bed of Jack in the pumpkin. Once I realized he was happy as could be in the pumpkin, we took the shoot to my front lawn (aka small patch of Brooklyn grass). Thankfully Jack is used to me photographing him in silly situations. He was such a good sport. Here are the great pictures from that day.

Our neighbor brought her daughter over who is a few weeks younger than Jack

4 months old

We can't believe how times flies with a baby.  Jack is now 4 months old. Every day he learns something new which is amazing to see. He is now eating solid foods (well mashed up foods haha).  I am trying to make all his food, which is fun and challenging. His favorite foods are apples, pears, and sweet potatoes.  We have been having so much fun these days. We had to go check out my sister Monica's new house in DC and then traveled to visit my parents in Delaware. We went for a day trip to CT to visit Pete's family and we got his Baptism outfit.  Baby Jack also had his 4 month shots..which didn't go as well as his 2 month shots. He got a low fever and wasn't a happy camper that day.

Here is Baby Jack at the doctors for his 4 month visit

Month of September

We have been having a busy month sorry for no recent posts. The whole Family traveled to Rochester for friends wedding (and Jack had is first babysitter), and we showed Baby Jack the RIT campus.  Meet up with some good old friends, and stayed with our friend Emily who is now a new homeowner!  I have vowed to do more posts this Fall. Especially since Baby Jack is such a busy man and growing SO FAST!  He has more friends than I do these days. (posting on all his friends later to come). We have also found out Jack has a milk allergy...I am now on a dairy free diet till I am done breastfeeding. Hopefully he will grow out of it soon.  Here are some great pics from the past month.

We walked the High Line in New York City this past month. The High Line is section of the former elevated New York Central Railroad spur called the West Side Line, which runs along the lower west side of  Manhattan; it has been redesigned and planted as an aerial greenway.
